About Milk & Cookies

This page was born as I lay out on the grass in my husband’s parents front yard nursing my daughter. She latched for about 30 minutes and we just laid there with her curled into me in her soggy bathing suit and diaper butt. The euphoric feeling that flooded through me as I laid there is something I will never forget. There is not enough support out there for new moms, young moms, breastfeeding moms, on just what to expect. With that said I home to share my OWN experience which is just one path to parenthood and raising a child. There are so many ways everyone’s story can differ. Just know that no matter what path you take, vaginal birth, c-section, breastfeeding, tube feeding, formula feeding, cloth diapers, disposable, co-sleeping, etc. there is no RIGHT way to parent. At its core, its about keeping our little human safe, happy, and cared for.

I plan to share my journey, from all the highs to the lows I want to share it so that hopefully I can help someone. Posts will range from informational, fun, creative, to rants on things that may be on my mind that I hope can facilitate a discussion.
